ROSTER NEWS: Detroit Lions MAKE SIGNIFICANT Promotion Ahead Of Sunday's Game vs Green Bay Packers
The Detroit Lions shake up their roster ahead of Sunday’s clash with the Green Bay Packers, officially promoting veteran punt returner DeAndre Carter from the practice squad. With Tom Kennedy out for the season and special teams a critical factor, all eyes are on Carter’s ability to change the game and whether he’ll handle kick returns as well. Can the Lions’ special teams give them an edge at Lambeau Field?
Jared Goff and the Lions offense face a Green Bay defense that leads the NFL in takeaways, while Detroit protects the football better than anyone. The Lions’ defensive line, leading the league in sacks, aims to make life miserable for Jordan Love as the Packers remain one-dimensional despite the return of Josh Jacobs. With the Vikings looming next week, will Detroit keep their season momentum alive on this pivotal weekend?
