REUNION TIME?! Ex-Lion Jamaal Williams EYEING A Return To Detroit + Bishop Fitzgerald Ready To Play?
Could Jamal Williams make a surprising return to the Detroit Lions? The former fan-favorite running back—who set a franchise record with 17 touchdowns in 2022—has expressed interest in rejoining the squad after a tough stint with the New Orleans Saints and time away from the NFL. With the Lions’ running back depth up for debate, Williams’ locker room leadership and legacy are back in the conversation, though Dan Campbell has signaled a “not now” stance. Is this reunion just a dream, or could it reshape Detroit’s offensive arsenal?
Meanwhile, Bishop Fitzgerald enters the spotlight as Detroit addresses its thin secondary. With five interceptions in his final season at USC and earning a draftable grade from Lions evaluators, Fitzgerald brings instincts and potential to a roster in need of playmakers. Will he provide the spark the Lions’ defense needs, or is the search for secondary answers just beginning?
