KERBY JOSEPH UPDATE: Dan Campbell PROVIDES Latest On Lions Safety + Detroit Lions Roster News
Uncertainty surrounds the Detroit Lions as safety Kirby Joseph’s future with the team hangs in the balance. Dan Campbell’s candid comments on 97.1 The Ticket hint at deep concerns regarding Joseph’s recovery from a lingering injury suffered nearly a year ago against the Kansas City Chiefs. Once a promising All-Pro selection and a key defensive leader, Joseph now faces an uphill battle to return, leaving fans and the Lions front office to question how long they can afford to wait for his comeback.
Meanwhile, Detroit’s secondary gets a shakeup as Avonte Maddox lands on season-ending injured reserve and Bishop Fitzgerald, formerly of the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad, signs with the active roster. With roster spots still in play and a defense in flux, could these moves signal bigger changes ahead for the Lions as they brace for the new season?
